MEMBERSHIP-BASED CARE
Helena Internal Medicine is preparing a membership-based adult medicine practice for Helena, built around a calmer patient experience, responsive staff communication, and more time with the physician. Patients can start the conversation now through early telehealth membership inquiries and second-opinion consults.

Membership openings will be limited at launch so the practice can provide longer visits, responsive communication, and a staff/patient experience that feels noticeably different from a traditional high-volume clinic.
The first phase of the practice will focus on telehealth access, thoughtful care planning, and consultative support for adults seeking a physician and team who take the time to listen, understand their concerns, and provide individualized guidance.
As the Helena office opens, the practice will expand into comprehensive internal medicine, primary care, geriatrics, and preventive medicine for adults of all ages, all guided by an evidence-based approach.
Having spent years caring for patients and working within healthcare systems across the country, Dr. Ziats recognizes a growing need in Helena for more personal, relationship-based medical care. His goal is to build a practice where patients feel known, questions are handled thoughtfully, and the care team helps reduce friction instead of adding to it.
OUR TEAM
The care model at Helena Internal Medicine is led by Dr. Mark Ziats, a board-certified Internal Medicine physician.

Dr. Ziats completed MD/PhD training at Baylor College of Medicine and the University of Cambridge (UK), and has extensive clinical experience in acute hospital care, post-acute care, and general outpatient internal medicine in Helena, Montana and across the U.S.
The Helena practice will focus on internal medicine, primary care, geriatrics, and preventive medicine for adults of all ages, with early telehealth access available as the office opens.
The membership model is intended to support the service experience patients often wish healthcare had: more time with the care team, more responsive communication, clearer follow-up, and a better understanding of each patient’s needs.
